Rae Livingston serves as AbbVie’s Chief Equity Officer. In this role,
she leads company-wide efforts to address the issues of race, equality
and diversity – both inside and outside of AbbVie. She previously
served as Vice President, Business Human Resources, Corporate
Functions and U.S. Employee Relations since she joined AbbVie in 2016.
Prior to joining AbbVie, Ms. Livingston held several positions of
increasing global responsibility with Rockwell Automation, where she
most recently served as the vice president of human resources for
headquarters functions, culture of inclusion and mergers and
acquisitions. She also gained key experience in business human
resources and mergers & acquisitions with Medtronic, Inc. and JP
Morgan Chase, both in the United States and abroad.
Ms. Livingston has served as board chair for the YWCA of Southeast
Wisconsin and as a member of the executive committee.
In 2021, she was recognized by Diversity Woman Media’s Elite
100 list, as one of a hundred extraordinary Black women executives
changing the face of corporate America.
She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business
administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and
is a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR).
