Jérôme Bouyer

Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, International Therapeutics

Jérôme Bouyer is Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, International Therapeutics, where he leads the commercial organization’s efforts to support patient access to medicines across the AbbVie portfolio in all international markets outside of the United States.

Mr. Bouyer joined Abbott/AbbVie in 2012 as General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. He then held various leadership positions in the company’s affiliates including Vice President and General Manager, France and Vice President and General Manager, United Kingdom. In 2019, he became President and Area Vice President, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, and transitioned in 2022 to the role of Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President of Europe Commercial Operations. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President Immunology, based in the United States.

Prior to joining AbbVie, Mr. Bouyer worked at Novartis where he held roles of increasing responsibility across Basel Headquarters, China, France and Belgium. Prior to Novartis, he was Project Manager and Consultant at McKinsey.

Mr. Bouyer is a PharmD from the Pharmacy University of Chatenay-Malabry in France and holds a Master of Business Administration from ESSEC Business School.
