Elizabeth (Liz) Shea

Elizabeth (Liz) Shea is Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, serving as AbbVie’s information liaison to the investor community, while working as an advisor and resource to the company’s senior management team. Ms. Shea’s responsibilities include establishing and expanding the company's relationships with sell-side and buy-side investment analysts and engaging with investors worldwide. She also provides input on the company's financial reporting activities as well as other shareholder relations activities as part of the company’s comprehensive investor relations program.

Ms. Shea has more than 25 years of experience spanning public affairs, corporate communications, crisis management, media relations and investor relations. She joined Abbott in 2004, and prior to transitioning to investor relations in 2008, she held several roles in the company’s public affairs organization overseeing multiple brands within the pharmaceutical business. Prior to joining Abbott, Ms. Shea held positions of increasing responsibility at Baxter, United Airlines, NEC Technologies, 3Com and U.S. Robotics.

Ms. Shea holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Illinois State University.
