Alberto Colzi

Alberto Colzi is Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, International Therapeutics. He leads the company’s international commercial operations and is responsible for overseeing AbbVie’s commercial execution of global strategies across Europe and intercontinental areas.

Mr. Colzi joined Abbott Italy in 1991 and went on to hold various senior positions within the organization. In 1998, Mr. Colzi was named Commercial Director, Latin America, and in 1999 he was named General Manager, Abbott Chile. In 2004, he was promoted to Regional Director, Southern Europe, and in 2006, he was named General Manager, Abbott Italy.

In 2010, Mr. Colzi moved to France where he was appointed Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2013, he joined AbbVie and was responsible for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. In 2016, Mr. Colzi was promoted to Senior Vice President of International – Japan, Emerging Markets and Australia and in 2022, was appointed Senior Vice President, Intercontinental Commercial Operations.

Mr. Colzi earned his engineering degree from Pisa University in Italy, and his post-graduate degree in business administration from Durham University, United Kingdom.
