Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, Specialty and U.S. Therapeutics Operations
Nicole Mowad-Nassar is Senior Vice President, AbbVie and President, Specialty and U.S. Therapeutics Operations. She leads the commercial business for AbbVie’s U.S. Specialty brands, as well as centralized capabilities that fuel growth across the entire U.S. portfolio, including Therapeutic Analytics and Operations, the AbbVie Digital Lab, Market Access, AbbVie Patient Services and the Copay Center of Excellence.
Ms. Mowad-Nassar joined AbbVie in 2018 as Vice President, Commercial Analytics and Operations. Her responsibilities expanded in 2019 when she led the commercial diligence of the Allergan acquisition and was later appointed the Global Commercial Integration Lead. In 2020, AbbVie Patient Services was added to her remit. Prior to AbbVie, she held multiple commercial leadership roles at Takeda and Abbott, overseeing both specialty and general medicine brands.
Ms. Mowad-Nassar currently serves on AbbVie’s Environmental, Social & Governance Steering Council and the Executive Crisis Management Team. She is active on several boards in her local community and is a past board of trustees member for Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep.
Ms. Mowad-Nassar holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
