Raymond C. Votzmeyer

Raymond “Ray” Votzmeyer serves as Vice President, Global Regulatory Affairs at AbbVie. In this role he oversees a global team that supports strategy and operations related to health authority regulations and the development, approval and delivery of safe and effective healthcare products.

Mr. Votzmeyer joined Abbott/AbbVie in 1991. During his tenure, he has held positions in Research Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. He has spent 25 years in Regulatory Affairs, including work on antivirals, anti-infectives, immunology, oncology and neuroscience.

Mr. Votzmeyer earned his B.S. in biology from the University of Iowa, and MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
