Michael Foley

Michael “Mike” Foley serves as Vice President, Clinical Development Operations at AbbVie. In this role, he is responsible for driving execution of AbbVie’s drug development programs throughout their lifecycle based on collaborative teamwork, robust strategies, expert planning, and data-driven decision making.

Mr. Foley began his career with Abbott/AbbVie in 1998 in Clinical Development and soon after joined the Portfolio Program Management organization. Since then, he has held a series of roles with increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President, Portfolio Program Management.  

Mr. Foley earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Illinois and MBA from the University of Chicago.
