Celine Goldberger M.D., Ph.D.

Celine Goldberger M.D., Ph.D. serves as Vice President, Head of US Medical Affairs (USMA) and leads more than 600 scientists. Dr Goldberger oversees all the medical activities related to the commercialization of AbbVie’s assets in the United States. This includes informing asset strategy, generating complementary evidence to the registration programs, executing on multi-channel medical education and enabling access to our medicines.

Dr Goldberger joined AbbVie US Medical Affairs in 2015 as Therapeutic Area Lead for Dermatology and Rheumatology and then Vice President, leading the Immunology portfolio. Since March 2020, she has served as Head of USMA. Prior to Abbvie, Dr Goldberger worked at Lilly for 11 years where she had leadership roles in late stage Clinical Development and early stage Regulatory Affairs. She received her M.D. with a specialization in psychiatry from the Paris V University and her Ph.D in neurosciences from the Paris VI University.
