Important Program updates to Patient Access Support

Upcoming changes to patient eligibility criteria for myAbbVie Assist.


What is changing?

Beginning July 22, 2024, the myAbbVie Assist Patient Assistance Program will update patient eligibility criteria.

New patients who enroll in myAbbVie Assist will be assessed based on the new eligibility criteria, while patients currently enrolled in myAbbVie Assist will be reassessed upon program renewal.




For patients with or without insurance

myAbbVie Assist is updating the financial eligibility criteria to 400% Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

If your household has more than four members, please add $21,520 for each additional dependent member.

The Inflation Reduction Act and changes for the Medicare Program

The Medicare program is expanding benefits based on the Inflation Reduction Act which aims to make medicines more affordable. 

Out of Pocket Cap
Starting in 2025, you will not pay more than $2,000 per year for all your medicines. You will automatically get this $2,000 maximum cap benefit without having to submit additional paperwork.

Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP)
The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP) will allow those enrolled in Medicare Part D to sign up for the option of paying out-of-pocket drug costs monthly in equal payments over the year, instead of all at once at the pharmacy.
