AbbVie was recognized for leadership in research and development, equitable pricing practices, addressing neglected tropical diseases and our focus on neonatal health in the Philippines.

For the third consecutive year, AbbVie ranked #2 on Patient View’s Corporate Reputation analysis, ranking among the best in effective patient-centered strategy, integrity, relationship effectiveness, information quality and transparency.
2016 International Medical Corps Global Citizen Award
International Medical Corps gave AbbVie its 2016 annual Global Citizen Award for its humanitarian partnership to support underserved populations around the world. International Medical Corps and AbbVie work in disaster situations where speed and urgency are critical, including the Ebola crisis, Hurricane Matthew, the European refugee crisis and the earthquakes in Japan and Nepal.
AbbVie is number #123 in the 2016 Fortune 500, and was one of 12 biopharma companies on the list to experience job growth in the past year.
2016 IDEA Pharma’s Productive Innovation Index
IDEA Pharma ranked AbbVie #5 in health care. This was attributed to a number of factors—the diversification and expansion benefits that ensued from its Pharmacyclics acquisition, positive data coming out of advanced studies for both novel and launched compounds in oncology and immunology, approval of Duopa® for advanced Parkinson’s patients, and a priority FDA review granted for our Viekira Pak®.
