Employer Support of the Guard (ESGR) program

We support the Department of Defense ESGR program which fosters a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. ESGR promotes cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers.

Fort2Base Race

Every August, you’ll find us at the annual Fort2Base run at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, a race that is 3- and 10- nautical miles. Join us for the virtual option that can completed any time in August. 

Travis Manion Foundation Character Does Matter Program

AbbVie Veterans ERG members support the Travis Manion Foundation Character Does Matter Program.  Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star family members are certified Mentors upon completion of training, enabling Mentors to work with young adults to develop character and leadership skills.

Roll Call Chicagoland

Roll Call Chicagoland’s virtual events bring together transitioning veterans, established veteran professionals and businesses for networking, support and professional development. 

USO – Pathfinder

AbbVie supports the USO Pathfinder Transition Program that connects service members with employment opportunities. This program offers support to service members up to 6 months after they have officially left service.
